I’m a London-based graphic novel enthusiast and author of The English GI, a graphic memoir about my grandfather’s WWII experience, featured in international press.

The English GI tells the story of Bernard Sandler, a 17-year-old schoolboy stranded in the United States at the outbreak of World War II, separated from his family in Britain. His journey takes him from New York to the front lines of the Lorraine Campaign in 1944, serving under General Patton’s Third Army.
